How to Enable/Disable Automatic Updates in iOS?

Automatic App Store Updates could become an issue when you are on a limited mobile data message. Disabling automatic updates would be a better idea if you in such a limited plan. There’s an option in iOS that allows you to automatically update your apps only when you are connected to a WiFi network.

Open Settings. Choose iTunes & App Store.

In the AUTOMATIC UPDATES section, tap the slider of “Updates“. This will enable automatic updates of app.

In the same page, you will find the Use Mobile Data option. You can enable/disable based on your choice. 

Also, there is an option to specifically choose automatic updates among Music, Apps, Books & Audiobooks.
